The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices has featured Panasonic again in 2014 – for the 10th consecutive year. UMC has been chosen for the seventh time, in both the worldwide and emerging markets sectors. Acer was also chosen, for the first time. The index evaluates the sustainability of companies in terms of the economy, environment and society. About 2,500 companies are evaluated each year; 314 were named to the 2014 Index.
