Cortana and Alexa users in the US can now access a “public preview” of the integration of the two virtual assistant platforms. Users with Alexa-capable products like Amazon’s Echo smart speaker can now speak to Cortana to access Windows 10-based productivity features, while those using Windows 10 can now engage Alexa to make purchases on Amazon, among other skills.
A representative of Microsoft confirmed that more crossover skills and features will be implemented in the future.
