Microsoft has announced that Dolby Vision support for video streaming is on the way to its Xbox One S and X gaming consoles, supporting Netflix on launch. Support for Amazon Video and Vudu will follow at a later date.
Currently, both consoles support HDR10 for video and gaming, while Dolby Vision is limited to video streaming only. The update will arrive for those registered with the Xbox Insiders Preview programme within the next few weeks.
