Ströer announced its financial results for the first quarter 2018 with consolidated revenues of €336.6 million ($396.5 million), an increase of 20%, compared to €281.2 million ($331.3 million) in Q1 2017. Adjusted consolidated profit for Q1 2018 was €29.2 million ($34.4 million), an increase of 42.4%, compared to €20.5 million ($24.1 million).
Ströer saw significant growth in revenues across the entire business segment in this quarter. Revenues of the cntent media segment grew from €115.9 million ($136.5 million) to €123.2 million ($145.1 million) whereas the direct media segment which comprises of dialogue marketing and transactional product groups, reported organic growth of 12.4% and revenue increased to €76.5 million ($90.1 million) from €33.4 million ($39.3 million). Revenues for the OOH Media segment grew to €141.3 million ($166.4 million) with organic revenue growth of 2.4%.
Looking forward to guidance for 2018, company expects operational EBITDA of around €375 million ($441.8 million) before IFRS effects, or operational EBITDA of €535 million ($630.3 million) taking the effects from IFRS 11 and IFRS 16 into account, and total consolidated revenue of around €1.6 billion ($1.9 billion).
