PC gamers will be able to stream their games from their computer to iOS and Android devices including Apple TV later this month, via the Steam Link app. To use the app, players will require either 5GHz Wi-Fi or a wired ethernet connection, as well as a wireless game controller. According to the official announcement, the app will support the Steam Controller, Made-For-iPhone (MFi) controllers and more.
It is not yet known what users can expect in terms of image quality. The Steam Video app will also launch alongside Steam Link, allowing users to stream video purchased on the Steam storefront to iOS and Android devices.
