Arrow Electronics reported its financial results for fourth quarter and fiscal year 2017. Q4 sales were $7.63 billion, an increase of 18% from $6.44 billion reported in Q4 of 2016. Global component sales of $4.94 billion grew 24% year-over-year. Global enterprise computing solutions (ECS) sales of $2.69 billion grew 10% year-over-year. Net income was $54 million, compared to $165 million reported in Q4 of 2016. Excluding the impact of Tax act and certain other non-recurring charges, net income would have been $224 million.
For the full year 2017 sales and net income were $26.81 billion and $402 million respectively, compared to $23.83 billion and $523 million reported in 2016.
