Last month, the small and medium panel makers we track saw the overall volume drop 3.1% MoM and 6.1% YoY. This time the monthly fall was reduced to 1.1% while YoY the number of units was up by 5.3%.
Hannstar Display announced November turnover of NT$1.99 billion ($66 million), dropping 17.2% MoM and 30.6% YoY. There were shipments of 39.133 million small and medium panels, down 6.4% MoM but up 26.3% YoY.
CPT saw revenue for the month of NT$3.05 billion ($101 million), down 0.9% MoM and 21% YoY, resulting in year to date turnover of NT$32.04 billion ($1.1 billion), an increase of 9.5% YoY. The company shipped 22.3 million small and medium panels, a rise of 11.0% MoM but down 31.4% YoY.
AUO reported November revenue of NT$27.39 billion ($911 million), down 0.1% MoM and 9.4% YoY. This brought turnover for January to November to NT$315.19 billion ($10.5 billion), up 5.8% YoY. The company shipped 15.3 million small and medium panels in the month, down 0.8% MoM but increasing 32.6% YoY.
Innolux posted monthly sales of NT$27.35 billion ($910 million), a rise of 10.6% MoM but a fall of 6.2% YoY. November small and medium panel shipments were 23.67 million, showing a fall of 2% MoM but up 16.8% YoY.
