Outfront Media has announced a continuation of its long-running partnership with the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The MTA’s board of directors has selected Outfront for an extension of its Digital Out-of-Home advertising and communication platform across its entire transportation network, the largest in North America.
The new agreement will see Outfront deploy 50,000 new digital displays across the transit network, which serves New York City, Long Island, southeastern New York State and Connecticut.
Outfront currently manages 500 digital billboard locations for the MTA, which welcomes an estimated 5.7 million commuters every weekday on its subways alone. They will continue to do so under the new deal.
The company will begin to roll out its Liveboard digital displays on the MTA from 2018.
