Quanta Computer recorded its second highest monthly turnover of NTD104.97 billion ($3.3 billion) for December, up 8% YoY, bringing revenue for the year to NTD894 billion ($28.3 billion), down 11%. The company shipped 3.9 million notebooks in December, primarily due to Apple’s MacBook Pro, and raising the figure for the year to 40.4 million.
Meanwhile Acer posted December sales of NTD18.84 billion ($595.8 million), down 17% YoY, resulting in annual turnover of NTD232.73 billion ($7.4 billion), down 12%.
