Each month, PMA Research posts the “Top 5” Flat Panel Lists for the following Large-Format display product segments:
Professional 70-inch to 79-inch Displays – This “Top 5? list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Distributor Flat Panel Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American AV and IT distributors. For 70” to 79” Flat Panels being sold through Distribution, Sharp took top honors in October with the number one selling LC-70LE661U. Samsung had a trio of displays make the October “Top 5” list for the Distribution channel with the DM75E (#2), OM75D-K (#4) and ED75E (#5). NEC’s E705 finished third in October.
Professional 55-inch to 65-inch Displays – This “Top 5? list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Pro AV Flat Panel Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American dealers and integrators. For 55” to 65” Flat Panels being sold through the Pro AV channel, the October results showed Sharp also taking top honors in this size range with their LC-60LE661U. Samsung followed with a trio of best-selling displays. The DC55E took the second spot, and the ED65E and DM65E came in third and fourth, respectively. NEC rounded out the October “Top 5” list with the E585 coming in fifth.
