General Interface Solution (GIS), which is a member of the Foxconn group, plans to invest $750 million in a new factory in Chengdu, China, apparently with a plan to become a supplier to Apple for touch sensors for the OLED displays according to sources in Taiwan. The factory will work on module assembly and touch module making.
