Blackberry reported Q1 2016 net loss of $670 million, compared to a net profit of $68 million in the previous year. Turnover was $400 million, down 40% YoY from $658 million. An overall dismal financial situation was characterized by nearly $600 million of write-offs and continually declining sales volumes.
