Wanda Brings Dolby to Asia

Dolby Laboratories has announced the first Dolby Cinema locations in Asia, through a partnership with Wanda Cinema Line. The cinemas – in Dalian, Changchun, Chongqing, and Jinan (China) – feature Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies. The first film to be shown was Legendary’s Warcraft. Wanda and Dolby agreed in January to open 100 Dolby Cinema locations in China over the next five years, 10 of which will be opened this year. Each of the 100 locations will use two Christie RGB laser projectors, with customised HDR features specifically for Dolby.
