The Korea Times, quoting a Tesla official, has said that LG Display will “possibly” supply OLED panels for the Model 3 car. OLED-Info believes that it is more likely that this refers to displays than lighting, considering that LGD has already signed OLED display supply contracts with other car makers. Tesla is also said to be talkling to LG Chem, Samsung SDI and SK Innovation about the supply of batteries for the Model 3.
