Toshiba has expanded its range of business notebooks with three models, favouring a long battery life, fast processors and multiple connectivity options.
The Satellite Pro A50-C-1G8, A50-C-1G9 and A50-C-1GL are all 15.6″ notebooks with Intel Core processors. They support WiFi, WiDi and Bluetooth 4.0, as well as HDMI, VGA, USB 2.0 (x2), USB 3.0 (x2) and RJ45 ports.
Both the 1G9 and 1GL units have 4GB of RAM and 1366 x 768 resolution; the 1G8 boosts this to 8GB and 1920 x 1080 resolution. The 1GL has a 2.1GHz Core i3 processor; both the 1G9 and 1G8 have 2.3GHz Core i5 processor.
Storage differs between models, starting at 128GB in the 1GL. The 1G9 has 500GB and the 1G8 falls in the middle with 256GB. All three use Intel HD Graphics 520. Battery life is up to eight hours in all models.
Toshiba is selling the notebooks in Europe now, for €650 (1GL); €690 (1G9) and €850 (1G8) ex VAT.
