Auzern’s Tri-Fold Portable Projector is Thinner Than Your Phone

At CES, Aurzen was showing Zip, a tri-fold portable projector with t a thickness of 1 inch (equivalent to a quarter’s diameter) and weighs similar to a smartphone, with a volume approximately half that of a smartphone. It uses an 8mm HD optical engine, which is described as the world’s thinnest by the company, along with what’s claimed to be the smallest DLP microchip available.

The projector contains dual high-strength aluminum hinges and includes built-in ultra-thin stereo speakers. It’s powered by a 5000mAh built-in battery that provides 1.5 hours of operation on a full charge and supports 24W fast charging. The device includes a ToF (Time of Flight) autofocus system that measures distance 30 times per second to adjust focus and vertical keystone correction automatically.

The Zip features a built-in gyroscope for screen rotation and includes an anti-slip base. For connectivity, it offers direct screen mirroring compatibility with iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows devices without requiring a Wi-Fi connection.
