At CES 2025, LG Electronics introduced its 2025 QNED evo television lineup, featuring advancements in display technology and artificial intelligence. The QNED evo models feature LG’s proprietary Dynamic QNED Color Solution, a technology designed to enhance color accuracy and brightness by replacing traditional quantum dots. Certified for 100% Color Volume by Intertek, these televisions deliver precise and vivid visual output.

The lineup integrates wireless connectivity through LG’s Zero Connect technology, enabling 4K resolution video transmission at refresh rates of up to 144Hz without the need for HDMI or USB cables. This marks the first application of LG’s True Wireless technology in an LCD TV. The inclusion of the α8 and α9 AI processors brings enhanced image and sound processing capabilities, while the webOS25 smart platform supports advanced features such as personalized user profiles and voice recognition.

Screen sizes range from 65 to 100 inches, with the introduction of a 100-inch model for premium home cinema and sports viewing. These televisions also incorporate features tailored to gaming, such as variable refresh rates, AMD FreeSync Premium certification, and HDMI 2.1 connectivity. The design of the QNED evo lineup emphasizes slim profiles and minimal bezels, compatible with contemporary interior aesthetics.

The QNED evo is the a showcase of LG’s remaining LCD capabilities, about as competitive a market as you can get. Simultaneously, LG continues to innovate in the OLED space, with its high-profile 77-inch transparent OLED TV showcasing cutting-edge design and functionality, albeit at a prohibitive $60,000 price point.
