Parade Technologies is working with Samsung Display, to deliver AMOLED panels for the tablet and notebook markets. Together, the companies developed the DP699 eDP timing controller (Tcon), which is used exclusively in SDC’s AMOLED panels. The Tcon supports resolutions up to 3200 x 1800, using four eDP lanes at a link rate of up to 3.25Gbps per lane. It also supports panel self-refresh and Adaptive Sync.
