A local government website in China has revealed plans by Foxconn to invest ‘billions of yuan’ in a new technology-focused industrial park in Nanning, Guangxi Province, says Reuters.
Construction on the planned park will begin this year, and it will be operational by 2020, according to the Nanning government’s website. 70,000 jobs will be created at the park.
The plan was described as a CNY100 billion ($15.3 billion) industrial park, although no specific investment figure was provided.
