The Korea Times quotes Samsung as saying that it is to once again look into the prospects of large-size OLED panels.
In an examination of Samsung’s recent finance results, the company is quoted as saying, “Our focus is small-sized OLEDs for smartphones. But we will proceed with projects for the development of large-sized OLED displays for more applications”.
Merck has previously said that it expects Samsung to return to the OLED TV market next year (Merck: Samsung Will Return to OLED TVs in 2017).
