Displaydata Announces Availability of New Fully Graphic, Three-Color Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) Sizes

Displaydata, the world’s number one supplier of three-color Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs), today announced the launch of its new three-color (black, paper white and red) Chroma 16 and 74 ESLs, in addition to the new Aura 29 BLE display with Dynamic Central, the company’s enterprise-wide remote manage suite. Displaydata will demo its new solutions in booth #4343 at the NRF 2016 BIG Show in New York City, January 17-19.

Displaydata’s new Chroma ESLs complement the company’s existing suite of displays, which is the largest selling ESL range in the world using three-color electrophoretic display (EPD) technology. The new ESLs can be used by retailers displaying small product facings using peg hooks (1.6 inch ESL) and for high-value goods and endcaps (7.4 inch ESL).

The Aura 2.9 inch electronic shelf label enabled with BLE includes iBeacon and Google Eddystone support is also connected to Displaydata’s Dynamic Central enterprise management suite, a powerful solution that allows retailers to remotely manage thousands of ESLs and BLE beacons in stores across the U.S. and worldwide. This inherently solves the challenges retailers face in deploying and subsequently managing and maintaining large, dispersed numbers of BLE devices.

Featuring a built-in Bluetooth beacon to enable personalized and relevant messages delivered directly to a customer’s mobile device, Displaydata’s ESLs come standard with replaceable batteries for easy in-store maintenance. Compared to traditional LCD displays, Displaydata’s high-quality ESLs provide consumers with near 180 degrees of readability with its proprietary EPD technology – making the labels as easy to read as traditional paper labels from nearly any angle.

Displaydata’s advanced display solutions offer seamless management of omni-channel pricing and promotions, allowing retailers to control and drive in-store pricing and promotions with speed, agility and consistency to keep up with their online counterparts. ESLs can, in effect, level the playing field between brick and mortar stores and online retailers.

“I am pleased to announce we have added two new sizes of displays to the world’s largest selling range of three-color, fully graphic ESLs. Our market-leading Chroma displays have become the ESL of choice for retailers worldwide because we are able to use our in-house expertise to create brighter, more vivid images and colors with better contrast and viewing angles than our competitors,” said Andrew Dark, CEO, Displaydata. “Our team of display data experts, with more than 100 years of combined experience in fine-tuning display technologies, have developed ESLs that can not only directly affect retail sales growth, reduce costs and increase profitability but also help retailers connect with shoppers in a more meaningful way.”

The new Chroma 16 and 74 and the Aura 29 ESL are available for order now.
