The monitor features an ultra-high refresh rate of 240Hz, a notable upgrade that ensures smoother gameplay and improved picture quality. It incorporates a Dual QHD resolution panel (5,120 x 1,440) and 1000R curvature, which combine to provide sharp, vibrant images.

Certified by VESA DisplayHDR 1000, the UltraGear monitor also boasts a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a peak brightness of 1000-nit. These characteristics contribute to the display of vivid colors and deep blacks, enhancing the visual quality for users.

The design of the monitor is optimized for focus with a three-sided, virtually borderless frame. While primarily aimed at gamers, the 49GR85DC also supports Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) modes, providing added functionality for multitasking and productivity.
