Visitors to the Microsoft Beach Club, in Cannes, experienced graphics projected onto their own bodies thanks to work between Microsoft and Christie. The project used Microsoft’s Kinect, to track movement, and Christie projectors (HD14K-M) and software. Images were projected onto visitors – up to six at a time, at 30fps – as they moved around the pavilion. Another demonstration used a DWU951-Q projector, throwing a 3m x 1.2m image and using a Kinect to sense interaction. Watch a video at http://tinyurl.com/qzht7vp.
