More information has been shared about AUO’s flexible AMOLED prototype, which was seen at Touch Taiwan (High Resolutions Rule Touch Taiwan).
The display is a 5″ unit with an integrated touch sensor. It has 1280 x 720 resolution and was made using an LTPS backplane. The frontplane is a top-emission AMOLED, and the substrate is a plastic film. The whole panel is said to be 0.2mm thick.
