In a post on Chinese social network Weibo, IHS’ Kevin Wang has said that Apple has the opportunity to adopt AMOLED displays in its products next year. Wang did not specify which products could use the panels. Wang also asserted that Samsung would not use Samsung panels. The company uses panels from LG Display in the iPhone 6 and Apple Watch. JOLED has also been attached to the company in rumours (Rumour: Apple Takes on JOLED for iPad).
