The Wall Street Journal says that Google is quietly relaunching Google Glass – but only for business users. According to the source, Google has redesigned the headset; instead of a frame, it is supplied with a ‘button-and-hinge’ system to be attached to existing glasses. The screen has been improved, to make it longer, thinner and more adjustable; and there is a new processor, extra battery and better wireless connectivity. Distribution to developers is apparently taking place now, with sales to start in the autumn. A new consumer version is ‘at least a year away’.
