UK mobile operator Vodafone has released an own-brand Android smartphone, which competes with rivals with an ultra-low price point for its size.
The Smart Ultra 6 is a 5.5″ smartphone with 1920 x 1080 resolution (IPS panel). The 3,000mAh battery will last for up to two days on a single charge, says Vodafone.
4G (still slightly unusual for a budget model) and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity are built in. The rear camera is 16MP, while the front is 5MP. An octa-core Snapdragon 615 chip runs Android 5.1. Internal memory is 16GB, although this can be expanded through a micro-SD slot.
The Smart Ultra 6 is on sale now, for £105 ($165) ex VAT.
