The series features slim styling, premium design, includes two screen size options – 15.6-inch or 17.3-inch – and comes configured with the latest high-performance processors and technologies for top mobile performance, making it an ideal choice for power users, multi-taskers, media creators and PC gamers alike. Built to take advantage of the key features of Windows 10, Satellite S series laptops deliver a robust experience, while proving to be an ideal choice for new capabilities, such as Xbox streaming.

1080p and 4K Ultra HD Screen Options
With the option of a 4K Ultra HD (3840×2160) IPS display, Full HD 1080p (1920×1080) or HD+ (1600×900) TruBrite® multi-touch display, the Satellite S Series provides text clarity, better browsing, a bigger workspace and precision video and photo editing. A built-in DVD SuperMulti drive allows users to play music or watch the latest DVD movies.
Smart Voice Detection, Ultra-fast Wi-Fi
Built with Windows 10 in mind, the Satellite S Series offers Toshiba’s TruTalk™ dual-array microphones that enable voice apps like Cortana and Skype, plus a dedicated Cortana key for easy access to Microsoft’s personal digital assistant.
The laptops also include the latest generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi®, delivering faster performance for demanding, high-bandwidth activities like streaming HD videos, transferring high-resolution photos and more, plus the convenience of Bluetooth® for connecting Bluetooth-enabled phones, printers and speakers.
Powerful Performance, Optional Graphics by NVIDIA
The laptops feature 5th generation Intel® quad-core and dual-core processor options, up to 2TB of storage in single hard drive configuration or with a 1TB hard drive with an additional 128GB solid state drive, up to 16GB of memory and optional discrete graphics by NVIDIA®. All are equipped with a high-capacity SD card slot, USB Sleep & Charge technology and an HDMI® port capable of 4K output. The 15.6-inch model includes three Super Speed USB 3.0 ports and the 17.3-inch model includes two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports.

Pricing and Availability
The new Satellite S Series laptops will be available on July 29, 2015 at major retailers, e-tailers and direct from Toshiba at toshiba.com/us, starting at $719.99 MSRP for the 15.6-inch model and $874.99 MSRP for the 17.3-inch model.
The laptops will initially ship with Windows 8.1 pre-installed, however, the series qualifies for a free upgrade to Windows 10 when it becomes available on July 29.
