Tech Data Corporation has reported its first quarter results, posting a net profit of $51.3 million on turnover of $5.9 billion, which compares with a net profit in the first quarter of last year of $13.5 million on turnover of $6.7 billion. The company’s Americas business contributed $2.3 billion to total turnover in Q1, down 6% year on year, while revenue in Europe declined 17% YoY to $3.5 billion.
