The CEO of Samsung SDI, Namseong Cho, has signed an MOU to set up a polariser plant in Wuxi, China. Samsung will invest more than KRW200 billion ($180.3 million) in the project, which will have an annual output suitable to supply 20 million – 30 million 48″ TVs. Production will begin at the end of 2016.
