Wearable Vendors Disengage From Android

Sources in Asia say that vendors have been developing their own wearable platforms in-house, following relatively low shipments of Android Wear products last year. Asus uses its own OS for its new Vivowatch, for example, while Samsung is looking to Tizen. LG is pinning its hopes on WebOS, according to the sources.
