John Paczkowski, managing editor of Buzzfeed and long-time Apple reporter, has claimed that Apple will unveil a new set-top box at its WWDC in April. The new box will have an app store, developer SDK and – most interestingly – Siri. The device will run on the A8 CPU that debuted in the iPad Air 2, and will also have a “dramatic increase” over the current 8GB of storage. Home automation will also come into play, as the STB will be compatible with Apple’s Homekit platform.
