Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 10 will be released this summer. The update will be free for users of Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 for the first year – and yes, that includes non-genuine copies. The move is thought to be an attempt to address the huge number of pirated copies of Windows in China, where it is estimated that 75% of PCs in the country use a hacked version of the OS.
