Taiwan’s touch panel manufacturers are predicting that first quarter weak demand for notebook applications will continue into Q2 and warn that vendors’ notebook reserves will continue to remain high. According to reports, many manufacturers are now offering one glass solution panels priced at $1.50 for notebooks in the 13″-15″ sector, while O-Film may provide even cheaper rates for some of its latest thin-film touch technologies.
