Renesas Electronics Corporation posted a third quarter net profit of ¥38.2 billion ($321.9 million) on turnover of ¥191.9 billion ($1.6 billion), which compares with a net profit of ¥23 billion ($193.9 million) on turnover of ¥215.6 billion ($1.8 billion) in Q3 of last year. For the first nine months of the year, the company reported a net profit of ¥73.3 billion ($617.9 million) on turnover of ¥608.9 billion ($5.1 billion), while in the previous year Renesas posted a net profit of ¥10.2 billion ($85.9 million) on turnover of ¥632.5 billion ($5.3 billion).
