Planar Systems Inc. has reported its first quarter results, posting a net profit of $3.1 million on turnover of $55.8 million, which compares with a net profit of $0.6 million on turnover of $40.5 million in the first quarter of the previous year. The company said that revenue generated by digital signage product sales hit a new record high, accounting for more than 50% of total revenue for the first time.
