Rambus Inc. said that fourth quarter turnover was down 2% year on year at $72 million, which the company attributed to lower royalty revenue from Samsung and nVidia, offset by the royalty revenue from Qualcomm and Micron Technology. Rambus recorded a net profit in Q4 of $7.8 million, having posted a net loss in Q4 of last year of $9.7 million. For the year, Rambus reported a net profit of $26.2 million on turnover of $296.5 million, which compares with a net loss in the previous year of $33.7 million on turnover of $271.5 million.
