Exterion Media, which said earlier this month that it is ‘exploring strategic alternatives’ for the company, is reported to have announced a round of job cuts this week at its London base. Among the staff losing their jobs is thought to be Simon Harrington, Marketing and Business Development Director.
Platinum Equity, the private equity company which owns Exterion Media, acquired the firm in September 2013 for $225 million from CBS Outdoor. Reports suggest that Platinum Equity is now also interested in acquiring the European assets of Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, either alone or with a partner.
