Inventec may open a new factory in India to supply clients outside of China, chairman Richard Lee has said. Company president KC Huang recently visited India to examine the feasibility of such a move. New plants are also to be opened in Beijing, raising capacity from the city to about 8 million smartphone units a month (from 6 million) after the first phase of construction, and 10 million after the second.
