Simultaneously beautiful and terrifying, the Smart Spider Dress is the result of a collaboration between Intel and designer Anouk Wipprecht. The dress – which is 3D-printed – uses Intel’s Edison platform, embedded inside, and reacts to real-time biometrics – meaning the animatronic spider legs on the shoulders can sense up to 7m around the wearer.
