Samsung Supplies AMOLED to New Customers

AMOLED panels are being supplied to Russia’s Yotaphone by Samsung Display, industry sources have said. The move is part of a bid to compensate for lost business from SDC’s main buyer, Samsung Electronics. The sources said that the Yotaphone 2 will use the panels (we saw this phone, with dual AMOLED and E Ink displays, at MWC 2014 in Display Monitor Vol. 21 No 10).
