UltraHD TVs represented more than 50% of 55″+ TV sales at the end of Q4’14 in Korea, said domestic retailer Lotte Hi-Mart, speaking to ET News. A Korean channel source forecast that the share would rise to 75% this year. The retailer said that UltraHD TVs represented around 30% of its total TV sales in Q4’14 (up from 10% in Q1’14).
