3M Inc has announced its fourth quarter and full year results, recording a net profit in Q4 of $1.2 billion on turnover of $7.7 billion, which compares with a net profit in the final quarter of last year of $1.1 billion on turnover of $7.5 billion. For the year the company posted a net profit of $4.9 billion on turnover of $31.8 billion, while in the previous year 3M’s net profit was $4.6 billion on turnover of $30.8 billion.
