Display industry in China has invested more than 100 billion dollars in display manufacture production and its supplier chain and the production of display screens has become the third largest manufacturing industry in China.
In 2017, the display panel manufacturing in mainland China contributed 35 percent in shipping area and 24 percent in revenue and operating profit of the global display panel production. It is estimated that the display industry in mainland China will exceed 300 billion yuan in 2018.China has already put 31 high-generation panel lines into mass production. In 2018, China’s TFT – LCD panel production in scale and sales volume became the top one in the world, and China has become an important driving engine of the growth of global display industry.
Society for Information Display is comprised of the top scientists, engineers, corporate researchers, and business people of the display industry, valued at over US$100B annually. SID was formed in 1962 to promulgate display technology, and that work continues today. SID aims to promote the development of information display technology and industry. SID Beijing Chapter, one of the largest chapter within SID, has 18 technical committees, 183 experts and more than 950 members. International Conference on Display Technology ( ICDT ) is the only display technology conference held solely by SID outside the United States. Following the successful holding of the first ICDT in Fuzhou in 2017, the second ICDT 2018 with higher standard and a larger scale was successfully held in Guangzhou Luogang Convention Center in April 2018, it attracted more than 40 academicians and SID fellow from home and abroad, more than 50 national distinguished experts, national outstanding scholars, and more than 1000 people from universities, institutions and display related companies around the world, among whom nearly 200 were overseas participants, ICDT has become the annual international display technology event
Kunshan, the host city of 2019 international conference on display technology?ICDT2019?, has already formed one of the largest and complete display industrial chain of ” raw materials – equipment – panel – module – system” in China, attracting more than 70 companies, including leaders like Visionox, IVO,AUO, AGC, Tokyo electronics and Konka electronics, with a total investment of more than 10 billion dollars, and is the only photoelectric industry base in mainland China to master TFT – LCD, LTPS and AMOLED at the same place.
Conference Announcement
ICDT 2019 will focus on the following 8 special topics and 17 symposium topics for a wide range of new display technology as well as the latest development of manufacturing technologies throughout the world. Preferential exhibition and free I-zone will be provided for companies, universities and institutions during the conference. ICDT will be good venue to exchange ideas between display professional and to establish collaboration with broad spectrum of researchers and key industry players around the world.

The format guideline can be download at www.sidicdt.org .The Deadline for submission is JANUARY 6TH, 2019. Please submit an abstract to paper submission website? https://www.cvent.com/c/abstracts/6f868f9f-ca4d-4b2d-893d-cde9ae0d0d8e) before that. After reviewing by ICDT technical committee, accepted papers will be published in ICDT 2019 proceedings for purposes of tracking talks during ICDT. With the author’s consent, the paper in the proceedings will be published on Wiley Online, the paper can be searchable on the Internet. Submitted paper of ICDT will be selected to be published at Journal of Society for Information Display (JSID). The conference program committee will select five distinguished papers and three best student papers. Leading author of distinguished paper will be awarded one year free SID membership and leading author of the best student paper will be awarded student traveling grants of 5000 RMB for attending Display Week 2019 at San Jose Convention Center, CA..
