AT&T has announced a mobile app that promises subscribers of AT&T’s U-verse TV service a new way to interact with and control their televisions. On September 26, 2012 AT&T launched their U-verse Easy Remote app available in the iTunes store for the Apple iPhone and iPad. AT&T describes the app stating “AT&T U-verse is making it easier for U-verse TV customers, including those with disabilities such as vision and hearing loss, to control their TV with the new U-verse Easy Remote App.” The app provides television viewers several features including:
