Yesterday was the press day prior to the start of the CEDIA EXPO, the custom install show for residential AV. While I certainly have not seen much so far, the lack of pre-announcements and buzz around display technology and products was noticeable. It would seem the focus has shifted this year from displays to audio and home control. This shift is surprising and not surprising at the same time. Here’s why.
